Your privacy matters. This Policy explains what Auree collects, how it's used, and the controls you have over it.
1. What we collect
- Account data (email, authentication tokens)
- Onboarding answers (nickname, age range, tone preference)
- Body and life-stage context, if you choose to share it
- Check-ins, journal entries, and saved moments
- Chat messages or summaries, when memory is enabled
- Billing status (managed by our payment processor)
- Device and session metadata (browser, timezone, IP for security)
- Aggregate analytics events (no raw journal or chat content)
2. How we use your data
- To operate Auree and let you sign in
- To personalize your experience based on what you've shared
- To generate AI responses, reflections, and supportive prompts
- To support your safety (e.g., surfacing crisis resources)
- To improve Auree through aggregate, non-content analytics
- To manage your subscription
3. AI Processing
To generate responses, reflections, summaries, wellness insights, memory-based observations, and other AI-powered features, Auree may send information you choose to share—including chat messages, check-ins, reflections, saved moments, scans, onboarding information, profile context, and memory-related context—to trusted AI providers acting on Auree's behalf.
Auree currently uses Google Gemini models through the Lovable AI Gateway to process this information and generate responses. Information is shared only as necessary to provide Auree's functionality and personalized experience.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. Please use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals for medical, psychological, legal, financial, emergency, or other safety-critical decisions.

4. Memory controls
- You can turn memory off at any time
- You can pause memory for a day
- You can clear recent context or delete individual saved moments
- You can export your data as a JSON file
- You can delete your data or close your account
5. Analytics
Internal dashboards used by the Auree team rely on aggregate, non-content analytics. Raw journal entries, chat messages, and saved moments are not shown in those dashboards.
6. Security
Auree uses authenticated accounts, row-level security, and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Billing
Payments are processed by our payment processor (Stripe via Lovable). Auree does not store full card numbers.
8. Data sharing
- AI providers (to generate responses on Auree's behalf)
- Payment processor (to manage subscriptions)
- Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery)
- Legal or safety obligations when required by law
Auree does not sell your personal data.
9. Children
Auree is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use Auree. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can exercise most of these rights directly from Settings, or by contacting us.
11. Changes to this Policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the version date above and, when appropriate, ask you to review the changes.
